This is some real fan-service setlist. I can only hope it continues into the main tour in the fall.

Holy shit, "I Do Not Want This" is one of my all time favorites.

I think we're getting the H's next. Hopefully a surprise though
Well, never mind. Wish just played.
We got HLAH without THTF. Holy crap it's a revolution!!!
The question is, whats in the encore. Its gotta be on the setlist and they just didnt play it
I should have kept my whore mouth shut earlier with my "meh" comment. Some solid obscure gems in there, and just a general stirring up of the setlist flow in general. If we see some real diversity in the rest of the Vegas sets, it's safe to say we'll see the same at the US non-festival gigs in the fall (b/c of the similar "multi-night stand in one city" vibe), and hopefully the European/Asian non-festival gigs this summer as well.
The show apparently opened with Pinion/Eater of Dreams. Good to see Pinion is still around, one of my favorite openers of any show by any band.
Question, is this the first time Hurt was never played since it was debuted? Its always been on the setlist right?
Loved the setlist tonight!
The cynic in me expects this to be the first and last of the mixed up rarities setlists, but let's hope that's not the case. Either way, lucky old LV.
Personally there's a couple of tracks there that I'd be happy to miss, but on the whole the killer / filler meter is very much in the red. Kind of surprised by the lack of new songs though, but surely they'll turn up as we go along.
Thinking practically about this - we have a tried and tested band, no fancy light shows, and multiple shows in each city coming up - perhaps there's no reason why the whole tour might not be along the same lines. Fingers crossed!
What a great setlist. Will be interesting to see what comes out of next two Vegas shows.
Hope this setist sticks around for Meltdown, London. Just 3 shows away now!
They didn't play Hurt as recently as Webster Hall last year.
It's on setlist.fm already
here
Was there. Can confirm it opened with a mashup of pinion and Eater of Dreams overlayed. I overheard the bar staff saying the show would start at 9:15. It did. But it ended at 10:55. Its the shortest of all 13 NIN shows I've attended over the years. And there was no encore, no Hurt and no unheard new music. The set list, but I'm sure you're aware:
1 metal
2 me too
3 beginning of the end
4 survivalism
5 March of the Pigs
6 lovers
7 find my way
8 burn
9 god break down the door
10 letting you
11 gave up
12 even deeper
13 i do not want this
14 I'm afraid of Americans
15 less than
16 came back haunted
17 only
18 wish
19 head like a hole
As a long time NIN nerd, this set list delighted me. Eight of the songs I'd never heard live before. Trent said something to the effect that they were playing whatever the fuck they wanted. Rad.
Listening to the songs live, I couldn't help but notice most were about corrupt authority. You know, Trump. Seemed very apres pos. But, here's my gripe:
It was short. Very quick. I even felt some songs were cut short. And there was no encore or new unheard songs. I even consoled some first timers with the fact that they always play an encore; that hurt was coming, but, it never came despite the crowd lingering for 15 minutes or so.
Oh, Trent does not play sax for GBDTD, but he does croon very well.
Oh shit "I Do Not Want This", awesome
I have a feeling the setlists for these next two shows will continue to surprise.
I damn sure wish I was there.
