I both love that picture and the reference.

Word online is Armie Hammer is looking to be the next Batman.
He's tall enough so beef him up a little bit and get him to rock a nice looking suit and I'm in!
Thank the heavens, lol.
Is anyone watching Doom Patrol? It is easily the best tv show dc has out at the moment
Replaced by Idris Elba!
I just watched Superman: The Movie (1978) today for the first time in a while. I forgot just how awesome it was/is. I enjoyed it as much at 39 as I did when I watched it as a child. The cast (Hackman, Reeves, Brando), music, humor, epic feel, everything--perfect. It's a masterpiece and timeless.

So The Suicide Squad will be like a reboot but keep Margot because she's hot and popular? DC is a mess. Shame because I love the characters.
I'm glad they hired James Gunn. Despite the usual idiots trying to destroy his career.
Uhh...mutant Rogue's Gallery?
First teaser trailer tomorrow.
Yusssssss
Honestly looks incredible. My hopes are high now.
Looks great!
This is the first DC movie I've actually been excited for since The Dark Knight Rises.
finally something that looks interesting from this studio.
Joker looks siiiiiiiiiick! I can't wait!
The cool thing is that a movie called Joker about a comedian/clown who goes mad pictured like in the trailer is already looking that great even without it being about the Batman villain. This one looks really really good and I guess one is best advised to not see it as a 100% comic adaption.
Can't wait for this one! Loving the laugh as well and the unusual makeup doesn't bother me anymore.
I dunno, man... it looks like it’ll likely be a good film, but it doesn’t feel like The Joker to me at all so far. He’s a good actor and it looks like a movie made by competent and talented filmmakers, but thus far, it doesn’t capture the essence of the character to me.
Looks like it would a decent movie if the concepts weren't stuffed into Gotham and Joker-shaped hole.
The trailer more or less was what I was expecting, except I was surprised at how closely Phoenix is edging towards the ledger version, which is kind of disappointing.
Leto's Joker was at least it's own thing
I fucking loved Shazam!
Like Spider-verse (and I really can't think of a more flattering comparison), it is bursting at the seams with heart + humor + a similar theme of inclusivity/representation. The family/sibling stuff made me surprisingly emotional, too. I can't wait to add this to my annual list of Christmas movies to watch every year.
Oh, and I involuntarily yelped and grabbed my brother's leg during the final scene before the credits rolled.
Finally watched Aquaman.
Could easily have been two movies (maybe three). It was grand in scale, sure, but not a lot of connective tissue between the story arcs going on. Separate the stories a bit, give us a reason to care about the first big fight as opposed to "Hey, there's another 1.2hours left..."
And King Orm should be renamed Chad.
