Low key, I know it's probably the worst song on The Fragile but I'd pop like crazy for Starfuckers. The performance from the AATCHB DVD seems like it'd be insane live.

I understand why my post was moved to the tour journal for San Antonio, but I posted it in this thread on purpose because I figured more people would see it here and wanted to share my experience to as many as I could. This tour is fucking hype! BTW watching a clip of it now I believe that the power outage during Burn was legit.
I remember seeing it on the With Teeth tour and when the song got to " I bet you think this song is about you " the crowd started to chant the "don't you, don't you" part, Trent just stoped and was like "hey we don't do that any more that was 5 years ago" I thought it was fucking harlouis.

Wrong thread
!
Sorry
OK, this goes in my pile of songs that I don't really like seeing in concert due to barely any live playing happening there.
Yeah that did not sound that great based on that particular video. Looks cool but a bit of a letdown.
A full live play through of Not The Actual Events though =$ imo.
I think what we are seeing here is part of the “danger” that Trent talked about wanting to bring to the tour. The possibility that a song wasn’t going to work. I mean have you seen the setlists? This is a different tour. They are playing songs like this without hours of rehearsals, just trying to work it out on a knofe’s edge, and they’ve managed to pull it off 99% of the time. It’s really incredible. I’m happy to see them give it a shot on anything just to see. I don’t care if it’s perfect or polished. I’d rather see them try than stick with the hits or the narrow number of songs they have time for rehearsing enough to perfection.
Watched the video of Dear World, live. That was uh interesting. Seems on par with The Lovers. I would prefer to see Dear World, than the Lovers live, but they both seem like not much is going on with them live.

Dear World live sounds like a dark industrial track with the notable weird exceptions of a single shiny synth and a quite clear chorus. Those Fink vocals are selling it even better.
The Lovers live sounds like someone is tearing my heart in two and it can't be stopped.
So, I don't know which one is the greatest, but how good must the mood be for such a simply played track to hit me so hard.
I have it on good authority that tonight's show will be OMG. B-)

Everybody calm down. We officially have “Closer” and “Copy of A.”
Closer was performed for the first time since 2018
Sin has to eventually be played this tour. ::crosses fingers::
I like this tour better than 2009. Five-piece band, and Trent’s voice sounds better. Lighting is slightly better IMHO as well.
