I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but to me the most surprising thing about this show so far is that there's no opening credits sequence! HBO is known for amazing opening titles already, so when you have Trent and Atticus on board, it seems like a no-brainer that they would work together to make some badass title sequence.

I noticed that right away and just forgot to mention it here. To be honest, I was hoping they'd have one (I absolutely LOVED the one in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), but I do like the way they incorporate the episode titles into the intro scenes, as @cdm pointed out. Also, I think I liked the second episode more than the first! Spoiler: The scene with Adrian's assistants – who are apparently clones – reenacting the play of Dr. Manhattan's origin was great and reminded me of The Prestige. Very curious to find out more about Will and his friends in high places.

To clarify, I'm not saying I dislike that there's not an opening title sequence; I just found it surprising given the combo of HBO & TR/AR. Title sequences are cool, but more often than not (especially when you're binging a show), they start to feel like something you're either skipping or patiently sitting through.

This is probably manufacturing delay & not some crazy limited edition thing, but the Target vol.1 has a release date of 11/8.

The "currently unavailable" vol.1 on Amazon has 2 formats/editions dated 11/4 & 11/8.

The official announcement said Amazon had an exclusive release date of 11/4 followed by regular retail at a later date. Based on the Target presale it appears that later date is 11/8. It might be that Amazon has sold through their preorder allocation.

I have so many questions... did Trent and Atticus just drop an obscure space rock album under the alias sons of pale horse or is it just the regular OST with a fancy packaging? Do the songs have lyrics?

I'll take some higher quality pics later and upload them I literally just got it in this morning from Amazon I had pre ordered it the second it was announced I haven't had a chance to play it yet but I will today at some point as no download card is included I'm going to RIP a copy for digital purposes off the vinyl so I can listen on any device I want.

I did a reverse image search and I found a larger version and Google has labeled it as "Giorgio Moroder 80s tour". However it's quite likely just a stock image used by @kraw for the artwork
