Now I'm Nothing. I still can't believe it. Tonight's set beat Sundays. No idea how they could top it tomorrow.

Did anyone else find themselves really missing Radio City's acoustics? In the pit (or rather, the general admission polite standing area) at least, the bass was muddy and overwhelming.

That said, great set! Glad I can finally cross Now I'm Nothing off my seen-live list.

I was hoping so hard for Now I'm Nothing at one of these shows and when the opening beat started I thought I would die. Holy shit what an opener. And this set just kept on kicking ass.

Happy I was able to experience at least one of these shows up close! The Radio City shows were amazing but I felt much more engaged and immersed at Kings (fucking beautiful venue, by the way). Thanks to @bobbie solo for the GA ticket - I'm glad @imail724 was able to put the orchestra ticket I originally bought to good use and experience this insane show!

I love how Trent came out in his leather jacket to sing Now I'm Nothing looking like a boss, and then put it back on before God Break Down the Door and wore it for the rest of the show. He must have been hot as hell but he knew how cool he looked.

Sanctified, the Bad Witch cluster, The Perfect Drug (it's so epic live that it has really given me a new appreciation for that song), Home, Metal, and definitely I Do Not Want This were other highlights but really, the whole thing was sublime. The only thing stopping me from dubbing this the ultimate tour is the setlists being on the shorter side but considering how amazing Trent has sounded these past nights, maybe he has determined that his vocals hold up better when they're playing less excessive setlists? Kind of the opposite of Lights In The Sky, where they were playing 2+ hour sets and by the end of the second leg he was sounding kind of ragged. If that's the case, I totally get it.

Bring on Kings night 2! But not really because then comes post live-NIN blues.

I think our collective hopes and prayers were heard for Now I'm Nothing. That, TPD, and HIS were probably my top 3 songs ive been wanting to hear since I started seeing them but pretty much convinced myself it would never happen and in 2 days I've gotten all 3, not to mention all the other incredible deep cuts we've been treated to thus far. Unreal. This is shaping up to possibly be NIN's greatest tour, and that's saying something.

I don't really have much to add beyond what's already been said. This is my favorite, and in my opinion, best version of the band and to see them master such a large swath of the catalog is a fucking treat. There's something to be said about large scale production and video screens and XBOX sensors hacked to make an interactive set design (don't get me wrong...I LOVED that shit and would again if Trent decided to go all-in visually) but to have a unique set list just about every night really adds to the excitement of the show. Looking forward to tonight's show for two reasons 1. one of my best friends is going with me...he doesn't really listen to NIN but he's super excited and 2. I think they still have a thing or two up the sleeve.

I love the live version of Sanctified. Ilan on bass just fucking kills it. He's such a talent. Now I'm Nothing > Terrible Lie is probably the perfect NIN opener. I Do Not Want This was a nice surprise.

Question: what is Alessandro playing during the second verse of TPD? Electric upright bass? I love how they bring an instrument (2 instruments when you consider Robin's mandolin) on tour for a single verse in one song they might play once every three nights.

Anyway, bring on night 4...i guess I'll sleep on Thursday.

Thanks to @bobbiesolo for the ticket!

I think it's a Mandobass. Was pretty close up last night and I saw him switching between that, guitar on choruses, and synth for the rest of the song. Ally is a boss on regular bass too!

The funniest moment (other than Atticus stomping off after HLAH in a cloud of vape dust) was TR introducing the band and catching Robin & Al chatting ("these guys, talking on stage, while I'M TALKING"). HAHAHAH

What a great trip to NYC and so worth it for these shows alone. Cherry on the top was meeting some more of you all! Terrific way to spend my birthday

    PARKING QUESTION:
Did anyone arrive late (around 8) and park in the lot?
Trying to decide if I should drive or take the Q. Won't be getting out of work until late.
Looking forward to tonight's (Wednesday) show!

The pit was fun even if a bit tame. I'm not going to say it wasn't worth face value but in hindsight I should have trolled Stubhub until 530 and scored a GA ticket from a scalper looking to limit his loss. That being said I was happy to pay face value to help another fan break even.

Amazing show! I loved I Do Not Want This and Metal! Definitely felt more intimate than Radio City.

They've hit the stage at 9:15 the past 3 nights.

One other thing about last night: Trent seemed to be adding some additional, yet subtle, vocal flourishes here and there. I noticed them during Pigs > Something > Sanctified portion but there may have been others. I just assumed he was into it and having a good time but tough to say for sure.

Agreed about him being into it. I recorded a few videos last night. Check him out in Mr. Self-Destruct...can tell he was pumped up:

Last night was another fantastic show. Eclectic setlist with plenty of rarer songs, esp. Now I'm Nothing and Home. Crowd was good for the most part...two or three morons yelled loudly during Hurt. That theatre is absolutely gorgeous and I am curious what Trent thinks about playing it, and I believe also playing in Brooklyn for the first time iirc.

The GA experience is perfect there. They don't fill it up at all. Plenty of room to move around, and super easy to get really close even if you were there maybe halfway through J&MC. Excited to see what's in store for tonight.

Anyone else notice the just sliiiiightly different little undertone flourish that Atticus has added to Closer? It's subtle but it's there.

Actually I saw NIN at Barclay's a few years ago (2013?); same tour as MSG. Looking forward to tonight. Will be in the Orch row J.

A repost from the NIN tour thread but I feel it'd be nice to leave it in the archive if imgur keeps it up that long.

Finally found a place to put up my photos for the King's Theatre shows.

Some may be blurry but that's because I literally just uploaded every shot I took and didn't bother to proof read. Only reason for that, I used to upload photos to Facebook in a gallery but since I don't use Facebook anymore (and Flickr got weird) not sure where i should put up my photos. Figure I'd just share it for fun.

Also another reason for the delay, imgur was giving me issues.

    Also some videos.

    Night 1 Photos (10.16.18)

    Night 1 Videos (10.16.18)

    Night 2 Photos (10.17.18)

    Night 2 Videos (10.17.18)
