I find that first picture appalling. The second one is more familiar though. As a youth I climbed into a loft in a local watering hole and peeled the REZNOR off of a unit a lot like that, and kept it as a memento.
Great. anyway...
Shouldn't this be in The Trent and NIN Photoshop Thread? Or... is that first image not edited? Looks it to me from the different compression around the text.
'Shopped or not, get that fucker printed and wear it to the next NIN show.
They're def. pressing some of those shirts.
It’s always heaters and people wearing nin shirts when there is no nin news. Next up is the god awful Reznor tag as seen a few years ago on dumpsters and doors in New Orleans.
There's a brief spotting in the Metal Injection review of Tool's new album Fear Inoculum. I can't wait until August 30...
goddamn I am so hyped for that album now.
For you non Tool fans,
Frank: What an appropriate song title to an extremely different approach for Tool. The song opens with electronic sounds, and resembles a more techno-industrial approach you’d expect from a Trent Reznor production. The track eventually leads into a full on drum jam that lays on top of the electronic sound bed, and basically serves as a Danny Carey highlight on the album. What a trip indeed!
Just Like You Imagined plays, about 20 minutes in (on Hulu) - The Amazing Jonathan documentary:
Are these remixes new? Or did we have them before on some versions of Uncoiled/Recoiled?
"These remixes were made by Coil & Danny Hyde and only 26 were made. This is my copy purchased directly from him."
The story : http://www.auralrage.com/recoiled%20special%20pics.htm
"When the Recoiled Vinyl records were constructed, bizarrely the factory sent me, as well as the finished records, 26
Black vinyl records in clear plastic sleeve, no cover. I have pondered what to do with these for a few years.
I have decided to sell them on. To make it interesting, I have labelled each, a letter from the alphabet
And created a unique CD, with seperate cover/sleeve label for each one.
The CDs, and Vinyl sleeve label are each unique for the 26 letters.
Each CD contains the same 4 songs, BUT these are versions never heard before by anyone
else still living.
The buyer of one of these will be the only one of a possible 26 to own these
versions of the songs, and ever hear them
You will not find them on YouTube, Spotify or anywhere ,
Of course I hope you keep these for yourself, but
Obviously that is not legally binding, it will be your choice, to share or not.
Also you will have the vinyl record as well, of course. I have to get rid of these now; I am not sure of the time frame
I will release each letter of the alphabet,
but possibly a few this year, then sporadic."
These are pretty cool, heard the preview a few months ago. New clear samples, almost isolated voices.
A new Twin Peaks Box Set is coming out in December.
From the blurb, "Also new in this box set will be never-before-released behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the new series..., full-length/unedited versions of musical performances at The Roadhouse Bar (from the Limited Event Series)..."
Not sure if this was posted.
Not only will the new Twin Peaks Box set include full-length/unedited versions of the musical performances, but this set will ALSO include a 4K disc which includes episode 8 of season 3. In other words, we are getting the first ever Nine Inch Nails performance in 4K !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, seeing almost nothing in 4K will surely enrich my life. And I think the performance in episode 8 was mostly uncut anyway. Not really worth the purchase, IMO.
Frankly, I barely noticed. It's a fairly long and plodding track. So yeah, "mostly uncut". But I did love the episode. Lynch at his best.
The first Nine Inch Nails in 4K on physical format..... (As in a 4K disc)......
More music announced. And, yep..it's another score.
