"...getting handjobs in Trent Reznor's kill room."
(Context at :49, quote at 1:38)
Paste Magazine spoke with Rob Sheridan and the rest of the creative team on his new comic book High Level about their inspirations and influences. NIN and the Year Zero ARG inevitably come up.
The video is about the obscure game Jack Bros for the Virtual Boy, which rabbit holes into a discussion about the series the game is from as well as censorship in America. NIN mention a little after 6 minutes in.
Side note: I got a virtual boy back when they came out and plummeted in price, and Jack Bros is one of my favorite games for it
Since there's no TR/AR Spotting thread, I'll leave this silly listicle here: TSN ranked #11 on Pitchfork's 50 Best Movie Scores of All Time. In a slightly amusing coincidence, Halloween is #10.
Alessandro's keyboard/guitar tech, Jeremy McGrath, will be performing with The Black Queen on next months tour.

One of the things I love about @robinfinck is that in casual conversations he can throw out “back when I joined the circus...” or “just after I left the circus..” and he’s not kidding around! This picture is 20 yrs ago just after our stint together with Guns n Roses (his first go round) and a few months before A Perfect Circle opened for NIN for 10 weeks in USA. About 7 yrs after that we played together in NIN. Lot of good history with him. #cirquedusoleil #impotentseasnakes #queenie #armandhammer #clogs #cloglife

Tonight 21h GMT on BBC4 : Score : Cinema's Greatest Soundtracks
What makes a film score unforgettable? Featuring Hans Zimmer, James Cameron, Danny Elfman, John Williams, Quincy Jones and Trent Reznor, amongst many others, Score: Cinema’s Greatest Soundtracks brings Hollywood's elite composers together for a privileged look inside the challenges and creative secrecy of the world's most international music genre, the film score.
There are several NIN easter eggs in High Level and instead of posting a link, I'm going to link you to Comic Shop Locator and urge you to pick it up and support Rob.
Should Rob and High Level get it's own thread?
btw I got the new book both regular and the variant cover. (Hoping Rob does a cover in this series, maybe some of his glitch work.) He is contracted for 6 issues but the story arc is for 12. This was in his commits on his IG. He gets extended if it sell well but he either doesn't know the target number or he won't\ can't tell\ share. So, if we want to get to the ending of his story that is sure to be filled with YZ ARG and NIN references starting buying the books!
Hurt cover by Czech rock group Tibet
Same here, I have it on a pull list at my local comic shop. So where should a High Level thread go? I'm sure it would be wrong to put it in the NIN section "All the Sin" but I rarely go into "All the Flesh" it just seems so vast and full. I don't know where to begin... There is a comics thread under Literature under Speak your Mind... seems a little buried and Rob's book really deserves its own dedicated thread.

There's stealing art from indie artists, and there's printing merch using a very well established trademark. I'm 100% sure those are licensed. And... not bad. I already have so many black hoodies though, most of them have NIN logos, and I prefer zip hoodies to pull-overs.
Nine Inch Nails was mentioned on a Yahoo! commercial.

Er, maybe spam.

Alessandro Cortini is the interviewee in the newest episode of the Art Music Technology podcast, which happens to be my personal favorite podcast. I haven't listened to this episode yet, but Darwin always does an absolutely fantastic job with his guests and I'm really excited for this one.

@ltrandazzo and whoever thought I mighta been hacked...thanks for looking out but it wasn't spam. That "Gen Y dot com" website was what appeared at the end of that goofy commercial. Was just making a dumb joke. Carry on.
