The Gameboy had some wild add-ons. I used to have a few of these accessories, but the sewing machine and the ones that fit in your platform shoes were wild .
Holy crap, where to start. That Direct today was something else.
No Mother 3 but honestly that was so far in left field that even the big green monster was like, "no".
Spoiler: mixing sports metaphors never goes wrong when you're on your bedtime medication! lol
I can't wait for Kirby next month! And I'm all in for Super Strikers in June.
I DAMN NEAR beat NES Karnov last nite. I love that fucking game.
Damn, BOTW 2 delayed until 2023.
Not at all surprising, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
While the delay is disappointing, it's proven to be a positive thing for past Zelda games.
Holy shit am I loving TMNT: Shredder's Revenge
Don't have time to look for more info atm, but I wonder who will be doing work on these Remasters, while Metroid Prime 4 is just still silent, and cannot believe we got that working logo FIVE years ago. If it is indeed Retro, then I wonder how changing developers from Bandai had any affect on the development of 4 in any way; story is fascinating to me.
So basically Jeff Grubb is full of shit? That Direct was pretty lackluster.
eh, I'm not a big fan of any of the new GB peeps. I am like 75% sure that Jeff left because of Jess. Their interactions - especially when Jeff said something that Jess thought was "wrong" even though it was clearly a bit - always seemed so forced fun to me. I can't listen to any of the shows she's on because it always seems like her mic levels are a decibel above everyone else. (I'm aware of the "people don't like the loud lady" conversation that's been on reddit and their discord, I have not contributed or read any of that)
Plus Dan turned into a right bastard at some point in time on the Fire Escape show and it's carried over to GB stuff. Mostly because 50% of the time he's introduced to information that is counter to what he thinks is real he will fight back. He's gone to great lengths in the past to explain that it's never a bit, that it's always true, but there is a limit to how successful a person can be and not know where potatoes come from.
The direct had Pikmin4, an imminent Fire Emblem, and date, gameplay and name for Zelda and that's lackluster?
Considering I haven’t jumped into Pikmin yet, have no interest in Fire Emblem, outside of the date and title - saw way more BOTW2 footage during the first reveal and the Direct was like 95% farming sims … it just didn’t move the needle for me. Was hoping for more new first party reveals.
Excited for those N64 games at least.
I found out that my sealed copy of Wii U Breath of the Wild is a rare-ish misprint. Should I get it graded? There's a couple copies on eBay, but also none of the graded ones seem to be selling. It's in perfect shape so I could probably get at least $200 for it closer to the holidays. Or maybe wait until the sequel comes out?
The controller matrix.
