Given what I've been told ("the listing is not legit") but trusting your judgment, and perhaps influenced by seeing a post on the Puscifer subreddit of someone getting a transparent red vinyl copy of the Existential Reckining remix album that's been pushed back, I think it's entirely in the realm of possibility that someone in fulfillment somewhere messed up. There's also the fact that the Watchmen vinyl popped up in random record stores well before there was greater immediate availability.
I would love to see photos when you get the chance!
Uh yeah that's real AF. lol
Wholly shit! That is dope as fuck!
Packaging looks a bit different. It still looks great but I like what they sent out before.
Alright now when and where can I buy this? Haha
I must have not looked at the inside very closely last time pictures were posted or, more likely, I didn't realize it wasn't a stock image, but seeing that TR/AR drawing made me laugh just now.
Wow, it's surprising that any of these snuck out like this. Looks like it's a box, right? Not as cool as the promo version, but pressing those 1940s album-style packages would definitely not be worth it in the volume this will sell at so it makes sense. Instant buy once they hit nin.com.
Eh...I don't know...still not convinced...
Looks like I need to go scour the shelves of all my local record shops...
I wonder how on earth this managed to find its way out?! Really pleased to see its getting a release though as its nice to actually own a physical copy of the music we love.
This looks like a great physical package. Hope they release a PDF of the artwork for posterity's sake.
Looks like the listing was pulled entirely from plaid room
Well, I checked USPS tracking, and it should be delivered on the 24th but we have a blizzard coming soooo probably after Xmas.
wish one would magically appear on my doorstep.
also, that mangled hype sticker is giving my collector OCD all sorts of issues.
Please, Santa: make it happen.
Surely you can break into some storage facility somewhere, whatever. I believe in you.
One of Five of Plaid Rm Records early release checking in. Null 13 Mank.

Went to Plaid Room today, got the full scoop.
So the distributor accidentally sent plaid room 5 copies and then when they sold them, the label put an embargo on the stuff. Trent personally called up the record distributor to yell at them lmao. Plaid room didn't know they weren't supposed to be sold. There were no more copies

Interesting…. If it’s ready to ship this way what the fuck is he waiting for?!?
Probably the release date. Generally speaking once a release date for a record is decided upon, they stick to it.
The weird part is the caginess around the release date. In my experience embargoed media always shipped with HOLD FOR [date] stickers on the outside of the box and they were never supposed to have mixed street dates. Everything in that box you'd hold for that particular date. Sometimes there would be fuckups from the distributor but it was rare. Plaid Room has a good rep...if they got a mixed box and their system had no street date entered they're gonna sell that every day of the week.
With that said, if the distributor got a shipment of Mank vinyl and their system logged no street date from the label it's no wonder the copies were shipped in a mixed box. We've got to move these refrigerators...
What happened to this vinyl release? Delayed again?
They have the stock, what are they waiting for?
