So, when is someone going to transcribe the lyrics of (If Only You Could) Save Me? This is the longest a TR track has ever been released without someone putting the lyrics up.
well i think its because they are available on streaming services such as apple music. anyways i put them up on genius here you go: https://genius.com/Trent-reznor-and-...save-me-lyrics
We need those lyrics up on nin.wiki, too.
I've added those lyrics to the wiki. Thanks!
Adryon de León, the vocalist for "(If Only You Could) Save Me" had a new single out just last week called "Ally", which is now on streaming services.
After reading this, I felt quite glad that Trent and Atticus had managed to find a way to record a score without anyone being at risk, which was more than other composers did IMO. Although it could have been David Fincher who does seem to treat his staff well

Holy shit!
Looks handwritten on “Nullco” Fine music paper.
@TR/AR - Not a lot of people know, this but I also have an Emmy vote Spoiler: Not really, but it would be stupid cool if one of these showed up in my mailbox.
edit: FWIW upon further inspection the signatures are printed and the sheet is a reproduction. Still very cool.

Wow! That record (w/ sheet music!) above looks amazing.
This score by the way has really elevated my appreciation for what these two do to another level. And as a lot of other people here have said, the fact that it was done by the same team who did TGWTDT (one of the best IMO) is really astounding. Musically AND cinematically, I mean. Just so cool that they achieved what they did.
After listening mostly with little kids in the room, or driving or doing late-night work for most of December, I finally had a slightly more... indulgent solo winter headphone listen over the holidays, and goddamn if All This Time (Happily Ever After) isn't the most moving thing they've ever done. It really hit me, like holy shit, this score is a powerhouse.
Mank score is nominated for a Golden Globe (so is Soul). Total of 6 nominations for Mank...USA Today:
https://www.goldenglobes.com/winners...motion-picture"Mank" took home nominations for top film drama, director (Fincher), drama actor (Gary Oldman), supporting actress (Amanda Seyfried), score and screenplay.

I GOT A FEVER....AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION ...is the 'Mank' vinyl release.
Stumbled onto this interview with Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) interviewing David Fincher (Mank) figured people in here would be into it:
Directors on Directors:
They are interviewed in this 21:50 in
Trent retweeted this...reeks of product placement lol.
Considering that I have albums full of 10" shellac... this speaks to me.
@kraw killed it with that one! i NEED one! "starts smashing F5 button on nin.com in hopes it appears"
That looks stunning. A proper album, in the original sense of the term. Also, the 40s illustration of TR&AR is hilarious.
Would purchase.
If only Disney would be as creative with their limited edition vinyl.
I feel a bit sad that the Mank score is getting a bit overlooked because of the juggernaut that the Soul score turned out to be in terms of awards. to be fair it’s still getting the nominations but I wish it had been released in a different year
Yeah, there's definitely some truth to that. But the fact that they have two scores for two different movies getting nominated for several awards is also pretty cool, no? I have to say I'm a little surprised that Soul seems to be the one winning the awards, I would have guessed that Mank would be the one to get all the attention.
I agree in isolation, but the music in Mank is sadly often buried in the mix, while in Soul it’s VERY prominent. So while I agree that Mank is a much more impressive score music-wise, I can see the argument that Soul’s score better serves the cinematic *function* of a score than Mank’s does.
