Received an email yesterday, that the show is 18+ and that I can give back my tickets if I happen to be under the age. Funny as I haven't gotten an email like this in more than 15 years. Makes me surprised what else Lindemann's got up their sleeves for the shows apart from showing the R-rated videos.
On another note, as I haven't seen this mentioned here. Till sure likes his German rap. You can hear a small cameo of his in the chorus of "1000 Jahre Bier" (1.000 years of beer) by Deichkind, an electronic-hip-hop band from Hamburg. The song happens to have a harsher sound than what they usually do, so Till fits well. Actually I thought it was very Rammstein-ish even before I looked up the credits that say it is indeed Till.

Loving these new vids! In a day when people barely have enough resources for lyric or performance videos, it's refreshing to seem some people still take it as a serious form of art still.
Setlist played on NYE in Mexico the other night.
Interesting choice of songs. Skills in Pills still dominates he setlist, despite F&M being out for a while now.
I actually don't mind this setlist. I prefer Skills over F&M, and the songs they do play from F&M here are the better ones.
Seems like a great setlist.
- Skills in Pills
- Ladyboy
- Fat
- Children of the Sun
- Home Sweet Home
- Cowboy
- Golden Shower
- Yukon
- Praise Abort
- Ich weiß es nicht
(Live Premiere)- Steh auf
(Live Premiere)- Fish On
- Platz Eins
(Live Premiere)
They always seem to play SIP in album order but leave Fish On for the encore... wonder why?
For some reason I just can’t get into Gummi or Platz Eins. The rest of F & M I love.
I'm expecting changes for the Euro dates though and hopefully a little longer than just 13 songs. It's a solid setlist though. And funny enough I really enjoy Gummi and especially Platz Eins which has a nice Die Krupps sound it.
Finally had a chance to listen to F&M straight through while I was working out today, and damn, this album is awesome! Platz Eins is killer! Love the synths on that one.
Platz Eins in hands down my absolute FAVOURITE song on the whole record! I'm glad the band recognizes how good it is to play it live and put it in the encore too.
@Erneuert I'm with you on Gummi. Something about the song is very off-putting. I don't like it. Especially at the end where he keeps yelling "Gummi" over and over. It's like nails on a chalk board for me.
It could just be that I haven’t listened to it enough.
The more I listen, the more I feel F&M is the superior album over Skills in Pills

Btw, if you go to YouTube, what are all those "HEYBK" versions of the F & M songs? They appear on Sauber and a few others. Does that just mean the leaked versions from the stage play?
In any case, I wish they'd re-release F & M at some point and include those original versions. Allesfresser's vocals sound different too -
And fuck, I really want studio version of Sauber!
@dlb - how accurate would you say this translation of Wer weiß das schon is?
Fine soul, oh so naked
And if I stand, completely without skin (look at you)
Hope creeps from flesh and blood
The evil chews on cheerfulness (look at you)
Luck leaves me
Heart leaves me
Everything leaves me
Leaves me
Luck leaves me
Heart leaves me
Only bad luck remains
Bow down
Who knows?
Who knows?
My heart has left
Who knows?
Who knows?
My heart has left
I love life
Life does not love me
It kicks me
And hits me in the face
I love the sun
The sun does not love me
It burns my soul
The day without light
I run away
I want to free myself
But the misfortune, it finds
Me again and again
Drink my tears
Jumps in my blood
Eats my dreams
And eats well, yes
(Look at you)
(Look at you)
(Look at you)
Who knows?
Who knows?
My heart has left
Who knows?
Who knows?
My heart has left
I love life
Life does not love me
It kicks me
And hits me in the face
I love the sun
The sun does not love me
The future is so dark
All days without light
Sounds about right!
"In order to create an authentic atmosphere and draw real reactions from Till, we decided to shoot the interrogation scene in a one-shot. It was complicated because I also wanted to have the wide shot at the end within the same take, so we decided to shoot it with a drone. While Till is performing and getting beaten, the rotors had to start up and the drone had to be released at the right time. Till, our cast and the camera team had to synchronize perfectly to the timing of the song or else it wouldn’t work. In the end, we decided it was best for the music video to cut in some other nice scenes, but I always had the idea to show the one-shot in its raw form some day." Video: directed by Zoran Bihac
I don't know why there are so many versions of this song lol...
I prefer the Pain version myself. Can't jive with the others.
The album version works better in conveying the song’s story Till had in his head, I think. That Waltz sound, and the video imagery of him dancing with the corpse of the woman. And that final “ba-rum-bum-bum-bum” (actually printed in the lyric booklet and missing from other versions of the song) - conveying the character’s insanity and how he finds murder and rape to be beautiful, beautiful enough to put it to a tune.
OK, well at least that explains why Till has been so fascinated with beating and raping women recently, I started questioning if he was feeling OK.
Glad he's just playing a character.
The imagery and visuals on this album have been particularly making him a degrading womanizer who looks at women as objects.
