I was watching this really interesting youtube series about unique CD packaging, and part 4 starts with YZ... but the whole video is cool:
This is tangential, but that Byrne/Eno album has been a favorite of mine since it came out. I actually recommend it for lockdown listening right now. It's kinda soothing.
I usually watch this guy for his Depeche Mode series.

I've been told all this before. And forgot. Apologies, and thank you!
In the absence of a NIN playlist thread... I'll put these two NIN-based mixtapes here:
You Can Try But You'll Never Understand
Broken Then Reconstructed
(if you're wondering why only two tracks are listed, that's because Mixcloud can be a bit silly when it comes to geolocking and rejecting mixes... doesn't usually like three of more tracks by the same artist in a row)

I ran across a photo I've never seen before. Trent with RevCo in Salt Lake city on Aug. 24, 1990. Look at that baby face!

He's wearing an old Psychic TV shirt too. RIP Genesis.
Ah, memories.
Edit: It’s all still there holy crap.

I guess this isn't really a sighting, but still a cool video.

Trent and Atticus doing music to promote the military industrial complex is the weirdest twist of events yet
According to the us army on twitter it was only Atticus involved.

To me, the article is a bit confusing... Is done by Nine Inch Nails or just by Atticus? I can actually see Atticus being contacted to do a COVID-related spot and not knowing it would also be an Army spot.

I know there aren't too many Atticus heads on here, but I've listened to enough of his stuff sans Trent with his wife and brother (which is excellent btw) that I can say with confidence that the Army clip is likely "just" Atticus. Great bit of score. Powerful and expressive in just 30 seconds.
All that said, it's very weird to hear his music for the Army. Mixed feelings.
