Looking forward to lots of nin news this year.
Looking forward to lots of nin news this year.
I am suddenly inspired to learn all of the NIN closer mashups.

Not a new thing, but I found the fragile guitar signal path stuck in between my copy of David Carson's Fotografiks book.
This pretty much sold me on the original Line 6 Pod. I owned it until last year, when I finally upgraded my pedalboard and amp to a full tube setup.

Anyone know where I can buy Revolver issue with NIN in it that just came out without dropping $25 in a magazine?
im fine with digital. I just wan to pay, I don’t know, the price of a magazine and not a fricking vinyl album to read an article about my favorite band.
I have checked a couple different Barnes and Nobles in town and no luck. I thought it was supposed to be out already. Is it not?
Same. That’s what @sweeterthan and I are gonna do soon too.
So I pre-ordered the Revolver issue and the email says it doesn't ship until Jan 17th, however I just went to get chinese takeout and stopped by the newly opened mom n pop bookstore and they had a copy on the shelf.
I guess it's only a little ironic to post this here, but Pitchfork -- the self-proclaimed Most Trusted Voice In Music -- published their 16 best ambient albums of 2020 today and..
https://pitchfork.com/features/lists...nt-music-2020/
Ghosts V: Together -- an album bestowed with a suitably boilerplate 7.7 rating from everyone's first idea of music tastemakers -- didn't even make the list. Some of the albums that did got several decimal points lower than Together. FFS, some of the albums that made the list didn't even get a review, so unworthy of The Most Trusted Voice In Music's time upon their release..
A travesty. How is this even possible. It just doesn't add up..
As Trent himself would say..STILL CUNTS.
Welcome to Pitchfork, where the rules are made up and the points don't matter.
But in all seriousness - I do actually enjoy critic's music reviews because I've been introduced to lots of new music that way. But Pitchfork has always been ridiculous and has historically had many writers with odd axes to grind against certain artists/genres.
Luckily, I get my music review fix from Youtube channels like Mic the Snare, The Needle Drop and Todd in the Shadows. None of those guys take themselves as seriously as the dorks at Pitchfork, but still introduce me to lots of new stuff.
RE Revolver: it is out at Barnes & Nobles, but may be in limited quantities. I went to one yesterday and found TWO copies.
Holy fuck that's insane
Agreed. If I were tripping on mushrooms while watching that someone would have to peel me off the fucking ceiling.
I wish I could trip fucking balls and watch that... my new job negates extracurricularly drugs, lol.
Poppy mentions that she consistently listens to NIN and Gary Numan in this interview on Revolver website https://www.revolvermag.com/music/po...-internet-girl

Clip from 1998 where Robin Quivers essentially puts TR in the same bucket of legends as Bowie, Jagger, Lennon, and McCartney.
