I just saw those. loving the actual car look to this one.
also sneak peak at a little more of the armor, yeah?
Hmm not sure yet, so the Batmobile is essentially a customized Ford Mustang? :P
Don't know if I like a recall to the 60/70s series. The costume starts to look better and better, but I like it less than Bale and Affleck apart from some neat details.
I'm all in. Aaaaaaall in on this.
Digging the 70s muscle car vibe.
I really like that Batmobile, like REALLY like! Really going all in on a more realistic Bats, not a super hero but the worlds greatest detective...fucking FINALLY!
Filming postponed for two weeks. Not too bad, I'll take it.
New release date now October 2021. Bahhh...
What was it originally? This year?
I liked all the versions of William in therapy with Peter Mullan back as Delos. Very flashy explosive episode but not sure how much it moved the story forward.
These 3D renderings are hella good. I thought they were photos at first glance.
Also, model maker of the new Batmobile shared a few solid new pics.
K.I.T.T., is that you?
jokes aside, that's pretty cool looking.
I don't know... it kind of looks like a crushed tank.
I am digging the outfit and the Batmobile looks..pretty good. I'm not crazy for the tank looking one from the DK trilogy, which, I know, is an unpopular opinion. This Batmobile looks a little TOO much like a plain car, which isn't a bad thing (makes it more realistic) , but a little...bland. idk. I still like it though. let's see it in action!
I really like that Batmobile. It has a normal and realistic look to it but its souped up with gear and boosters like always.
For the record, I hated the "Tumbler" from the Dark Knight Trilogy.
I like the Batmovile, looks like a mix between the animated series one and Breyfogle's one for the comics:
So far the only thing that looks interesting to me about this movie...
at least it's better than the batmobile from the 1949 serial (which we are currently re-watching with rifftrax...god it's so bad)
also, they literally just park it in front of bruce wayne's house and run inside all the time...and claim they're "borrowing" it from bruce when people ask why they're in bruce's car.
they spend more time getting in and out of the car (instead of actually chasing the bad guys), falling down, and standing around looking awkward then they do actually fighting crime.
i highly recommend watching them for a good laugh. you can get all 15 parts from rifftrax for $1.99 each (they have sales all the time, too).
for those not into riffing, it's on youtube in full:
Unsurprisingly, word online is that Matt Reeves' The Batman trilogy is expected to cast a new Joker, to be introduced in the second film, and also appear in the third of a planned trilogy.
I wish they (they being Hollywood) would focus on the movie first and the trilogy last.
Heard it through the grapevine Aaron Paul is the leading pick
Not if this ends up being true: https://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/...rverse-batman/
Part of me wishes they'd just find one Batman and stick with him for a while...like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine...
I might have heard it wrong, as Triggermine's link would attest to. He'd be perfect as Bruce Wayne, not sure about Batman.
May be some confusion here as the post re: Aaron Paul came directly after mine. Aaron Paul is apparently one of the two frontrunners (with Ryan Gosling) to portray Bruce Wayne/Batman in a sequel to Joaquin Phoenix / Todd Phillips' Joker (if that even happens at all).
As for a second and third film in the new Robert Pattinson The Batman...there are reports that they're eyeing a completely new person to portray The Joker if/when it fleshes out into a trilogy.
