Why u no on Herzeleid?
Why u no on Herzeleid?
Love when they sport the Mexican mariachi hats during the performance.
It's about time that they had all their content officially on Youtube!
Whoever is leaking the rare nirvana demos needs to start helping leak a certain rammstein demo lol.
My suspicion of this being the MSG comeback show was correct.
The time from filming to release and a making of for an album from six years ago is so weird and I love it. R+ really seems to operate in their own world.
Hopefully it isn't the behind the scenes we have all seen before.
Where did you find the packaging image?
Also, we now need a Made In Germany DVD.
Love the packaging although I really don't care for the show itself. I'll probably rip some songs to add to my ipod live playlist. I'm keen on the booklet and the documentary "Rammstein in Amerika" though.
Hope MIG finds his way onto DVD too, but I guess that will have to wait at least another year.
Very interested in the making of LIFAD. It was a very difficult time for the band that almost split them up if I am correct. Very much anticipating the next album cycle.
Is there any confirmation of this being on Blu-ray or is it only DVD?
I'm just happy to have a proper recording of the extended version of Haifisch!
Also a bit of a bitch that the title track LIFAD doesn't appear on the DVD. No idea why they dropped it from the set.
I just hope this video is unified release without fancy-shmancy limited deluxe package with CD or bottle-opener or whatever.
Release date plz!
September 18 apparently.
Good date. I'll buy or die.
Nice. My birthday is Sep 29.
I hope the Bercy (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rammst...-4bdfaf6e.html) concert film is released not too long after In Amerika.
Just a bit shitty that that performance of Frühling In Paris pales in comparison to how good it was on the LIFAD tour.
1. Documentary Rammstein in Amerika – running time on DVD: 2h // TV Cut-down: 1h30
This documentary by Hannes Rossacher tells the story of Rammstein in Amerika by focusing on the chronological development of events in the band’s history in North and South America. The film contains a great deal of unreleased footage from the band’s personal archives.
The first two-thirds of the film portray the band and their rise in the US and Latin
America up to 2001; their simultaneously regretful and disenchanted “Farewell to Amerika” following the events of 9/11; and their explosive return to a sold-out Madison Square Garden.
The film accompanies the band on their various visits to the Americas throughout the past 20 years.
The film can be broken down into the following chapters:
1990 – 1993 EAST GERMANY: Where does Rammstein come from? The bands in which they played in East Germany. Life and making music in the East.
1993 FIRST US TRIPS: After the Fall of the Wall – impressions from the band’s first outside encounters.
1994 RAMMSTEIN: Formation of the band. Development of the show concept.
1996 BIZZARE FESTIVAL / USA / BOB BIGGS: First contacts with record labels in the US. Finding an agent. First club shows.
1996 SUPPORT TOUR WITH KMFDM
1996 DAVID LYNCH/LOST HIGHWAY: Cult and credibility.
1997 DU HAST / RADIO / MTV: Commercial success.
1998 FAMILY VALUES TOUR: Language and life on tour.
1999 HEADLINER TOURS: Life on tour. Getting arrested. Concept of morals and art in the USA.
1999 MEXICO / KISS / SAO PAULO: From feverish excitement about Rammstein in Mexico to the worst show ever in Sao Paolo.
2001 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TOUR & 9/11: Farewell to Amerika.
2002 INTERNET / MUSIC-VIDEOS / TRIPLE X – The media landscape is changing.
2008 “LIEBE IST FÜR ALLE DA” – Album Recordings in the USA.
2010 USA – COMEBACK IN TRIUMPH: Madison Square Garden.
Alongside the documentary footage, the film features a vast number of US and
Canadian artists and interview partners, such as Iggy Pop, Chad Smith (Red
Hot Chili Peppers), Moby, Melissa auf der Maur, Marilyn Manson, Kiefer
Sutherland, Steven Tyler, Jonathan Davis (Korn), CJ Ramone, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Slipknot, System of a Down, KISS, and Taylor Momsen.

Excellent!
I hope it's not a multi-cam disaster (Like Guns, God and Government by MM was) where it jumps around every fucking 5 to 10 seconds like I see there. I don't mind it but it just feels segregated.
I dont mind it at all, but that 2 hour documentary is worth it alone.
So fucking excited for this release!
Nice! Just put in my pre-order
Will do once some available money comes my way.
