Ok, I made a couple of photos so you have an idea what it looks like. It`s not really a photo-book, just a magazine with a story about them and some photographs.

I'm quite pleased that it really is a full 27-page feature rather than just a regular cover story like they usually do at the SZ.
I'll try and scan some of this tomorrow and put it up. If I had the time I'd even translate it for you guys, but I'm amidst my bachelor thesis and when I'm not working or writing my shit down I tend to be piss drunk in my free time. :P

Check your PMs Conan.
Got it thanks :}
awesome pic. Till and doom pretty much look the same lol.
Just got back from the post office. Expect the magazine within a week Conan.
According to the article each show costs 0,5m $. If this is true I don`t get it how they make any money from the tours.
Well, average ticket price for the European arenas was 72€. Now look at the capacity of the Olympiahalle in Munich with 14.000 seats. That makes roughly a million euros. Not counting all the 25€ LIFAD memberships for the fanclub paid before the tour starts in order to score tickets early. Then add all the merchandise sales which are extremely huge with Rammstein (haven't seen anything likewise) and you got yourself a nice profit. Of course there are other things to be paid and taken into consideration for the math and I might have throught this through too naive, but still this band is a money maker and they know it.
Reminds me that I haven't finished reading the article myself. :P

I´ve noticed a change in webpage of the video information (crew united) and there is a 2011 version directed by Eugenio Recuenco and a 2012 version by Zoran Bihac. Maybe they didn´t like the first idea, and that would explain the delay in release. http://www.crew-united.com/index.asp...data&ID=160779
Pictures from the show in Tacoma (May 14 2012). I managed to get a few really good photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3844015...7630811244164/
I was surprised on how much I actually enjoyed Letz's set. I'm sure if it wasn't remixes of Rammstein songs, I probably wouldn't give a shit.
sorry for the double post

I doubt it since the band has said that they are taking a break.
Hmm, they did say in an interview a while ago that they plan on doing summer festivals in 2013. But those were european summer festivals. I'm assuming this mayhem festival is in the USA? Could be promising.
However, the people posting/commenting on that site need a life bad, wow - Never seen a bigger bunch of losers.
That almost makes the comments left on blabbermouth look like fine english poetry.
Look what was on their Facebook page but got pulled:
Speaking of Rammstein, whatever happened to that Mein Herz Brennt video?
According to some websites, its coming out later this year. I'm thinking its gonna be a video to help promote the live DVD, which is listed but no date with it. Its all speculation at this time, but kinda makes sense.

Just got the email confirming the 2013 dates
Now to decide which date to attend LOL
God, I sure throw my money around... But I just need to tell myself, i'm not throwing money around to see Rammstein, it's traveling to see the world... and Rammstein just happen to be playing a show there. =D

Looks like your stuff got credit Manburning
That's awesome! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
It's always nice to watch a concert video, but to watch one of a show you went to and got some of your own footage into the final product is that much more awesome!
Welcome man. I thought it was cool when buddy told me long ago he was compiling the whole thing. knew my footage wouldnt get used, but nice to see yours is bootleg legit!
Looks like Rammstein have announced some more shows for this year in addition to what they announced already. 12 stand alone shows and 2 more festival dates.

I wonder if it's going to be a full blown new setlist and new show or just a continuation of the MiG shows. I'd hope for something new, but knowing these guys, it's highly unlikely. They like ride the same setlist for 2-3 years it seems.

Hmm, by now I could really really use another date in my neck of the woods. Can't believe it's been so long already. And where are that long overdue video and that damn DVD?
From the official site:
Today Rammstein announces the release of their video collection "Videos 1995 – 2012" on December 14th, 2012.
The retrospective includes the band’s complete video catalog, making of for each video plus 2 unreleased videos for the song "Mein Herz brennt".
"Mein Herz brennt", from the 2001 album "Mutter", comes out as a single for the video collection on December 7th, 2012. Especially for this release a new piano version of the song has been recorded. The single also includes the previously unreleased track "Gib mir Deine Augen".
The video of "Mein Herz brennt – Piano Version" will premiere on the Rammstein website on December 7th, 2012! More information coming soon.
So that's what took them so long, good news, but wow, what a cash-grab one year after their greatest hits album came with a video collection itself. As I sold it, I think I will get the new collection though just to have all the videos handy. Depends on the price of course...
and is that Till on the cover? phew, I'm curious how both videos will turn out. Reminds me of Silent Hill somehow.
The scars look like they belong to Till, so it might be.
I dont know how I feel about this really. They could have just released the vids and songs as just a single Mein Land style.
Yeah, it's definatly a cash grab. Especially with releasing the greatest hits collection last year and Litchspielhaus many moons ago that was also a video collection. Obviously that one was severly incomplete, but why release a "video collection" every 10 years or so when you know you're still going to be making music. Because we all know in another 10 years, they'll release yet another greatest hits or video collection of their entire career. (Assuming they aen't going to be calling it quits soon and will be releasing a few more albums yet, I know they're all getting pretty old).
But, either way... I will definatly be grabbing the MHB single if I can get my hands on it, One of my favourite songs from them, and looking forward to hearing an official cleaned up, studio version of "Gib mir Deine Augen".
