They're back!
Now let's all revel in the greatest music video ever made:
I can't believe they're back together. It may be only a handful of shows, but man they are going to unleash some hell on everyone who sees them play.
That was probably my favorite song back in...COUGH COUGHgrade 12 COUGH. I'm so old. My back hurts.
So yeah, this is basically the best start to the year musically ever...
I heard this earlier today and about shit myself. My summer plans may have changed before they were made.
I really hope that they decide to more than just a couple of festival dates and tour the US. And call it wishful thinking, but if ATDI and Refused decided to do a joint reunion tour together, well I'm pretty sure my pants would explode.
New dates trickling out:
04/13 Indio, CA – Coachella Festival
04/20 Indio, CA – Coachella Festival
04/27 Berlin, GER – Monster Bash Festival
04/29 Meerhout, BEL – Groez Rock Festival
08/09-11 Gothenburg, SWE – Way Out West Festival
Meh, I don't know... It's possible they put on some good shows, but I'm sceptical. My greatest concern is Dennis voice, you can hear it in all the post-refused projects he's been involved in, it's just not what it used to be and he can't pull off those screams anymore. I hope I'm wrong though.
Refused show announced at Terminal 5 in New York City, NY on April 23rd. A special charity pre-sale will kick off today with public on-sales set to start tomorrow, January 25th. Those interested should keep an eye on the band's Facebook page for more details. On top of that the group have been added to the “Øya Festival” in Oslo, Norway on August 10th.
They also announced a SF show that week too last week and the tickets already sold out. I just found out today. I'm gonna find myself a way there hell or high water.

Here's a preview of what they might sound like at a show near you!
Just finished watching the Coachella stream.
I'm gonna go die now. Ballsy.
They were ridiculous!! Really, really tight. Dennis was psyched out of his mind, lotta energy and very happy. same for the whole band for that matter. Dennis can still belt it out really well too. Told some funny stories about back in the day for them....one was how excited they were to finally come to NYC and play in Manhattan where all their favorite NYHC bands were from, and then they got booked in LI with Snapcase.
Lou from SOIA came out and they did Injustice System. that was really fun. New Noise obviously got the biggest reaction.
Cerebral Ballzy was so, so terrible. Maybe i'm an old fuck, but that "i can't be bothered" schtick is kinda weak, part. when you're trying to do snotty 80's hardcore in 2012. Would have much rather seen Ceremony tomorrow.

got my ticket and I'm really looking forward to it. From what I have seen of this reunion it looks like it will be a blast, but I'm still not sold 100%.
Got my tix as well, can`t wait! You won`t regret it, I saw them at Rock im Park and they were great. Problem was I fucked up my ankle on the first song and it wasn`t the experience I was looking for. And besides most of the people didn`t know who they are which was really annoying. So I have big hopes for this show! Kesselhaus is a great location too.
Never been there actually. Last time I was about to go to see the Deftones, but my schedule fucked up so I had to sell the ticket. I'm going with a friend, but maybe we can hook up for a drink. I'll let you know in time if you're in Munich!
Refused are fucking alive!
New album 'Freedom' out this summer, stream new track 'Elektra' here!
Craziness!
Fuck yeah! How is the new song? Still at work and cannot hear it!
the new track is pretty awesome. very straight forward and not too complex but a nice and short preview. I'm digging it!
I can't believe we are actually getting a new Refused album. This is great!
Dennis' yells sound like Dave Grohl now and I'm ok with it. I really like this new song. If the rest of the album is this straight forward, it's going to be a blast.
The new song is fucking awesome...wow.
awesome awesome news about the new album
for some reason I thought it'd never happen!
Best thing that's happened today.
