New Extreme.
I think this is great, really impressed. Nuno said that he had EVH in mind when he recorded the new album, Six, out in June.

Cracking tune, and the solo takes me right back to Donington 1984, the only time I ever saw Eddie live - my first ever festival. I'll look forward to an Extreme tour if they hit the UK.
The Oh Oh Uh Oh Oh bit - really familiar but I can't place it.
The Star Fleet Project, a collaboration between Brian May and Eddie Van Halen, recorded in 1983 and long out-of-print, will be re-issued July 14.
There is a ton of stuff in the vaults that needs to come out. Hopefully this is the first of many.
Giving Mammoth's new album II a spin right now. It's pretty much what I expected, continuing the sound of the debut--very modern. It's been a while since I listened to the first album, but I think that the songs might be stronger here. Fantastic musicianship, hard to believe that Wolf plays everything, and sings. There's some pretty sweet guitar work, and you can almost here Eddie at times.
I'd give it a 3.5/5

Van Hagar remasters coming 10/6.
5150 and OU812 really needed to be remastered. "Bonus" content is really lame.
Interested in this one. Dgaf about Dave Halen. But love van hagar.
haha yea I know im in the minority. but I like Sammy. Dave annoys the snot out of me. always has. cannot stand him at all. Sammy is rad tho. nice guy.
Any love for Mammoth WVH II?
another solid effort
That was, interesting.
Ouch.
I’ll preface by saying I enjoy Dave Halen more than Van Hagar and I’m not familiar with WVH, which is to say I don’t have a dog in this fight…but Dave’s bit is getting really tiresome.
So for how long has he been in this mean-spirited midlife crisis?
