Just came to post this! This came out of left field!
This....this may produce some hot takes.
I definitely can't say that I saw this coming. I doubt that Reznor and Ross would get involved if they didn't find the collaboration to be worth of and appropriate for their artistic voices to be involved, and for that I am quite excited.
I'm interested to give this a listen, defiantly not what i was expecting.
Halsey has been hit or miss for me, but I am excited to check this out!

Holy fuck balls... (manic) was one of my favorite releases from last year.
She's pregnant, just started a makeup company, and is still putting out music.
Can’t say that I have ever once enjoyed a single Halsey song, but if the dudes have enough faith in the material to attach their names to it, I’ll give it a go. I just really don’t see her voice or aesthetic meshing with the TR/AR sound but I’m ready to proved wrong and to maybe be surprised at the outcome.
The mini-clip sounds promising and I'm looking forward to the 90s dudebros throwing a shitfit
I'm out of the loop. Who's Halsey and why is everyone is having a meltdown over this?
Well, OK then. I wouldn't call myself a Halsey fan or anything, but her last album showed a bit more promise, and with Trent and Atticus on board, I guess I'm tentatively on the hype train. I hope it's good, at the very least it'll be interesting.
she’s a super big popstar and it’s such an unexpected collab
but i found this so
also her previous album is in dolby atmos so this is gonna be the first nin album in dolby atmos on apple music unless the social network gets uploaded first lmfao
After seeing how difficult it was to keep the Manic vinyl in stock at my last job when it came out, I look forward to fighting you guys and Halsey stans for this when it comes out.
In all seriousness though, I welcome the left turn. Manic had a few songs I enjoyed and granted I’d welcome a different artist a little more wholeheartedly, it’s still an experiment I’m interested in.
My only knowledge of her is she did a track with Bring Me the Horizon - which I actually liked....
I love Halsey, this is gonna be amazing.
Hmm, remember there was a reddit spoiler a few months ago? Someone said there's a TRAR-produced album coming from a major pop singer.
This is awesome for so many reasons. Personally speaking, aside from a few artists, today's mainstream music is dominated with simple, poppy, convenient music. We live in a decade where everyone is afraid of offending or saying the wrong thing; as a result music format (mainstream) is too safe and numb (aside from the catchy garbage misogynist n-word cop killing mainstream rap pop shit).
I hope TR/AR producing more artists and stick to a somewhat organized structure with some overly abstract tracks.
Then there is Cannibal Corpse "this fucking song is about the inhumane harvesting of human organs and selling them on the black market" GRWARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ROOOOOOGROROGOGOGO
You know, music with a fucking message, meaning, story, facts...
Like how fucking overplayed is rap/pop and the endless fucking rambling about luxury cars, money, fucking women, killing.
Ya Im angry.
Release date is speculated to be November 12. There's also this website if anyone wants to have a look:

Always wanted to hear Reznor (& Ross) go all out pop. Surprised it's Halsey and not someone like Kanye or Charli XCX, but excited nonetheless. Will be weird hearing this stuff in cocktail bars and on shitty TikTok dances (which I will avoid like Covid).
Fuck yes. Very exciting!
Found the spoiler, from a month ago:

LoL okay that kind of scared me, I turned my vol up.
I miss the days when Facebook and Twitter didn't dominate and artists paid attention to their websites and made them fun and interactive.
NIN.COM in 1999 pre-Fragile-release was fucking awesome with the art and leaks TR would manage. I remember refreshing NIN.COM dozens of times in hopes of triggering the random audio play of TWOIT or TF or TDTWWA... I can't remember which song it was.
Finishing that little coin flip game linked back to a cryptic Instagram that is now obviously the acronym for the album title. Yesterday’s post was coordinates that I’d assume are for today’s reveal billboard.

I don’t think I’ve heard a single Halsey song but I’ll give this a chance.
The clip sounds like a noisy, moody The Bug production
