Chinga was cowritten with Stephen King right?
Working on season 2. Just saw "3" and that was not one of the better episodes. Vampires?
It has a creepy premise and good chemistry (but Perry and Duchovny were in a relationship at the time, hence how she was cast). The episode wasn't very good overall though sadly.
Liking the show any better?
The episode was from 1994, so way to go you.
Annnd looking for an excerpted version I found THIS, too...
XD
Working my way through season 2 and there have been some really fantastic episodes. "Irresistible" was just creepy as hell and "Die Hand Die Verletzt" was also very good.

Confirmed! Six Part Limited Series Run
Six episodes?
I'm curious which way will they go. If this will be run of only MOTW episodes, or some new myth-arc. I doubt they will try to resolve the old arc of alien invasion in only six episodes. They would need to set up the story again for new viewers and I don't see that very plausible. I'm also curious if they will be willing to continue doing another limited series if this will have success. I'm sure ratings of Fox will skyrocket when new x-files will be airing, just don't fuck it up and x-files could continue as miniseries in style of True Detective or Fargo
Based on what Chris Carter has said over the past few years, this isn't going to be a 6 ep. monster of the week thing, it's going to be the proper conclusion to the mythology arc. I'm so stoked, I think this is the best way that this could happen. I think there's too many questions that another 2 hour feature film could possibly answer. Hopefully Vince Gilligan will be a part of it, and it'd be awesome if they could work William B. Davis in somehow.
With only six episodes, there's no way isn't can't all be mythology. Hopefully they will let us know what happened to Doggett and Reyes, or Kirsch. And for people wondering about the 2012 date, I wouldn't be surprised for them to make 2012 the timeline anyway. But, there's no way they can do monster of the week episodes.
That was one of my favorite scenes!
Carter said they wouldn't ignore the 2012 date. Probably wouldn't be hard to write around it. Any number of reasons could be a sufficient explanation for the.....uhhhh.....whats the limitation with tagging spoilers here? I don't wanna be a dick or anything, I know some people are just experiencing the show via netflix, but its been 13 years and stuff.
You would think someone would steer clear to avoid spoilers of any sort if they haven't seen it. If they haven't, they better get to it.
Eh, use your judgment. Certain things like Spoiler: Samantha's fate, Scully's abduction and cancer, CSG's doings and fate, who Jeffrey Spender is related to, Syndicate's work and fate, Krycek's plans and Mulder's abduction and subsequent death and resurrection would best be left on the table as far as spoiler tags are concerned. Other random junk that isn't a major alert like say Deep Throat's death, X's death and Gibson praise related shit should be fine to leave open.

Can Gillian Anderson please keep her mole?
I know that sounds ridiculous, but I mean it sincerely.
I feel uneasy about this... with good writers (and by good writers I mean vince gilligan), the main 2 leads and mark snow, it could be cool. But I dunno... I felt it was lame how the 2nd movie sidestepped what happened in the finale. I want to see M&S surviving in the post 2012 world (which you get that brief glimpse of when the smoking man is watching it all from a high window in that one episode)
she must hold some super gene that simply must proliferate, it doesn't make sense how fit she is
