Anyone else watching the new Netflix series 'The OA' that dropped yesterday? Started off a bit slow but by the end of the second episode my wife and I were seriously hooked. Highly recommended.

Seems like today's the day for some sick new trailers.
Carrie Fisher has heart attack on flight.
Man 2016 just doesn't want to let go, does it.
Shutter Island with a sprinkle of Session 9 ?
Cocaine is hell of a drug.
After an outcry from fans and the MJ estate the episode of Urban Myths has been pulled due to the fact that a white man portrayed a black man who spent his time and fortune trying to look like a white woman.

Saw hidden figures today with my lady. It was both heartbreaking and disgustingly heartwarming at the same time. Amazing
Real Time With Bill Maher returns tonight for it's 15th season. I only mention this because today is also his birthday.
I haven't been a fan of M. Night Shyamalan's latest work. Lady In The Water was the beginning of the end for me. But I just read an official spoiler about Shyamalan's latest film Split that makes me kinda wish I did not read it but now makes me want to actually go see it. For fans who love classic Shyamalan, I suggest you may want to see this movie and possibly avoid spoilers so you don't ruin the surprise.
Apparently Denis Villeneuve has been attached to the new Dune adaptation(s).

Even though this is a very different film visually and I think story-wise from Sofia Coppola as it has a very different music soundtrack. It still looks interesting as the cast alone makes it interesting as well as the fact that it's a different take on the film that Don Siegel made with Clint Eastwood back in 1971 as it's based on a novel.
I'm definitely going to see Song to Song. I love what Malick has been doing though I heard this film is really a transitional film of sorts as he's returning to more traditional narrative with his next film.
Well, this thread has 'awesome' in the title, though this news is most certainly anything but.
Guillermo del Toro's twitter about 10 minutes ago:
Hellboy 3 Sorry to report: Spoke w/ all parties. Must report that 100% the sequel will not happen. And that is to be the final thing about it.
I'm more sad about Clerks III cancellation...
Agreed. A lot's made about how Jason Mewes carried Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (justifiably), but for Clerks, that's Jeff Anderson. It's sad he's so reluctant, because he's so damn good. Aside from wanting to see Clerks 3 get made, I really wanted to see more of Randall.
I love Dante and, especially, Randall and I was so looking forward to seeing where they'd end up in a third movie. But, Clerks 2 was perfect and I'm very happy to just leave them there with the milk lady.
YES PLEASE.
In the event you're in the mood for some upcoming films about young women being kidnapped.
