They're making a sequel to the US Girl With The Dragon Tattoo that skips two of the books to the first book that Larsson didn't even write and features none of the original cast and crew. This will definitely be good
Holy fuck.
New neo-noir thriller from the director of 'It Follows'.
Finally, a John Bellairs story is being adapted for the big screen. Hopefully this means there will be more films with Lewis, or perhaps another gothic mystery series with Johnny or Anthony. I've always been baffled that a studio hasn't mined Bellairs' great stories.... seems right up the alleys of Guillermo del Toro and Tim Burton. Perhaps issues with the Bellairs estate?
Jack Black (looking rather Orson Welles-ish), Cate Blanchett, and Kyle MacLachlan. Directed by Eli Roth.

Whoa.
Holy fuckin' shit!
Sorry for the double-post but.... after nearly 20 years of money troubles, false starts, re-casting, deaths, and all sorts of shit..... FINALLY!!!!!! The Man Who Killed Don Quixote by Terry Gilliam is coming....
That 20 years of development hell applies to this one too.
i'm really bummed that Dirk Gently got canceled. i fucking loved both seasons and i just wanted more
Yeah.. I actually bought a copy of the blue version of Dirk's season one jacket, and now very few people will ever know where it's from.
@eversonpoe Same! Love all three colours of that jacket, but the blue seemed the most acceptable for real-world wear.
Here it is, may or may not be modelled by me depending on the viewer's level of visceral disgust.
Katie Rice will be a director on the new Animaniacs reboot

Coincidentally, Animaniacs is a show that John K despises.
I'll count this as movie news. MoviePass might as well be dead in the water now.
Only 1 movie a week, no repeat viewings, and auto-subscription to iheartradio for 3 months, which will charge you $10 a month after the trial.
I'd rather pay $20 a month for unlimited viewings. Guys. Don't fuck this up.
Despite saying it was over a decade ago, Stallone is returning for Rambo 5.
Although it'll have been NINE years since the last one, and Downey & Law have yet to confirm anything... Sherlock Holmes 3 is set for Dec 25, 2020.
Nice to see that De Nomolos is back (Ed Solomon), though I wonder if actual De Nomolos will be in the movie or not. (He's in the comics, that's why I ask.)
Holy shit! After all these years of talking they finally pulled it together. Good or bad, I'll love it I'm sure.
Fucking. Yes.
Jordan Peele's new horror film "Us" drops in March.
Oh, for sure! And apparently that promotion didn't change any standing subscriptions. I was more disappointed in their decision to change one of the biggest draws of their service. Bad move. Still not allowed to see repeat viewings, though. But in all fairness, I've paid for tickets to movies I wanted to support anyway, then just used MoviePass to see it for free again or to see things in kinda iffy on.
