I wasn't sure where to post in over at The Musical Revolution so I'm posting it here.
Danny Elfman to play music from Tim Burton's movies live
He's going to sing live on stage for the first time in 18 years. That will happen in London, next October.
*holds @allegro and jump for joy*
There's a Film Composers thread there.
Megan Fox cast in Michael Bay's TMNT reboot.
I'm assuming April O'Neil?
They should buck the trend and cast her as Krang.
So it looks like Mark Hamill is in talks to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker. Lemme just pause to HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT!! Thank you.
So, Evil Dead 4 is being written this summer? Can I get a "FUCK YEAH!!"?
This looks entertaining and ridiculous at the same time....More or less Die Hard in the White House. Something very mid 90s about this type of film. But they always do it for me.
Another one?
Well, just be thankful it's the last one.
Haha, that poster for The Hangover III is hilariously awesome, lol.
Good to hear that Bay's TMNT is still happening.
Glad they've made peace with one another also.
Too bad they couldn't bury the hatchet early enough for her to properly finish her role as Mikaela in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but oh, well...better late than never.
is this guy serious

THE BEGINNING OF THE END
20 years ago today, we started shooting CLERKS.
20 years later, with no plan or provocation, I jumped out of bed at 4:20 this morning and started writing CLERKS III.
It's been like hanging out with old friends.
And after 2 hours of tapping the keys and giggling, I have come to a conclusion...
CLERKS III will be the best film I'll ever make.
Veronica Mars Kickstarter raised over $2 million in 12 hours. Warner Bros. green lights the the movie.
From the Twitter of the script writer.
'It's showtime!...'
I had no idea this was even in the works, but apparently there's a Beverly Hills Cop show coming focusing on Axel Foley's son, and Eddie Murphy is actually going to be in it.
Apparently if it takes off, he'll continue to appear...
Apparently, this movie called InAPPropriate Comedy is must-see cinema!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1754811/
It stars Lindsey Lohan, Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez and Adrien Brody (!).
The director is Vince Offer, aka the ShamWow guy.
It looks absolutely abominable.
In happier news, new promo shot from The World's End!
I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet (that I've seen):
Trailer for "The Wolverine":
