Of course! Can't ever get enough of this show.
I'll never go to Kentucky after watching the show.
Season 3 really started off with a bang, securing Raylan Given's place as the most bad-ass character on TV right now.
Agreed, that was a great way to start the season.
Yeah, I loved the episode. I always look forward to this show because it never disappoints. The last scene with Ice Pick (or whatever his name is, the dude from Dexter) did indeed show how bad ass Raylan Givens is. Boyd is a great character, too, so dark but still tries the "Jesus is my savior so I'm good now" routine. Love how he basically got himself landed in prison to take care of some unfinished business. Can't wait for the rest of the season.
Yeah I watched it, and yes it does!
Last season was brilliant! Can't wait to see what they have in store this season. Good first episode! Glad the show is back.
Anybody still watching this? The season finale was fantastic. I'm glad this finally hit its stride this season, every season has been good but it was just all over the place sometimes. This season was great all the way through, and that finale is probably my favorite episode of the series so far.
Yeah man, I watched this season. I even deemed Tuesdays (or Wednesdays when I caught up on DVR) Wild Turkey night and drank along with them. Love this show and everything about it is so good. All the characters are pretty much ace and the acting is so good, I feel like I'm sitting there in Kentucky. Definitely can't wait for a next season!
First episode of the new season is Tuesday, FYI.
The wife and I have been meaning to jump in to this show from the start for a while now...obviously I know it's a vague thing to ask, but what could you compare this show to? In terms of plot, pacing, style, etc. etc.
I'd start with films like Jackie Brown and Out Of Sight. The show is based off a short story by Elmore Leonard, who wrote the novels both of those movies were based on. I'm not a devotee of his, but I can make the connection between the sense of humor of those films (and to a lesser degree, Get Shorty) and the show.
Sad to see so little love for this show, probably the best running on FX right now. Even sadder to see that the sixth season might be it's last.
Started season one of this show a little bit ago. I freaking LOVE it. It's so fun to watch and I really really enjoy the Raylan Givens character. Even the episodes not related to Boyd and his gang are great.
I've been watching this since it first aired, one of the rare consistantly good shows from FX (or anywhere else for that matter.) It also eased the pain of losing Deadwood in it's 3rd season for me, watching so many actors from Deadwood join the show and having the brilliant Timothy Olyphant front and centre is a joy to watch.
Having the legendary Sam Elliott and Garret Dillahunt sign on for the last season should make it the best season ever!
Anyone watch the premiere? It was a great start to the final season
I was so happy to see Dewey again.....
Shits gonna go down
Good start to the season....setting up the conflicts that are to come
Btw more Dickie Bennett and Sam Elliott showing up is a good thing!
The episode is free on Amazon Prime for a few weeks. Caught it tonight, loved it. I'll be pretty sad to see this show go but it looks like it's going to leave with a bang.
This became my favorite show on TV pretty quickly. And man, it seems from that opening episode last week, that like the song at the end of each season says, no one will leave Harlan alive.
Final episode in a couple of days. It's been a damn good season, and it's nice to see (provided that the finale delivers) it's going out with both barrels blazing.
I don't know how they're going to wrap this up in 42 minutes. What an intense final season! I'm going to miss it.
It has been a really good season so far a bit of a slower buildup than I anticipated but it has still been awesome. I can't believe there is only one more show to go, I'm going to miss this show.
