You know, I love this show as much as anyone, but I would love to see what they could do if it was their last season. I imagine the writing would take a bit of a turn, and they would be pumping out some quality episodes that tugged on the heart strings a bit. Although, at this rate, it'll be another 10 years or so before that happens....

Thought Sigur Ros would be in it longer than the 2 seconds that they were, but dammit that Olson Olson montage was great.

That Carl Carlson episode from last weekend was one of the better episodes of this last season, and that's quite sad, as Season 24 was probably the least memorable season of all, the episodes were really awful! I liked the joke at the end of the 2nd "finale" episode, when Homer and Marge were celebrating their 10th anniversary and they said "here's to the next one at 25 years" and Bart chipped in "Nothing needs to last that long" IE: joking towards the fact that the Simpsons will be on their 25th anniversary next season, lol.
It probably is time to throw in the towel soon, but aren't they renewed until until season 30 or something? I heard they had 5 more seasons left, but that might have been a year or two ago I heard that.
Personally, I think it would be better if for the last couple seasons, they skip the random 1 off episodes that don't have anything to do with each other, and they start like a "continuation" serious that goes from one episode to the next, like most hit TV series fo these days, so it keeps you wondering what's going to happen next and it makes you tune in each week. I think that's the best way to boost this show's ratings. Also, maybe make them grow older as well finally. That one Christmas episode where they went into the future to see how the family had turned out, was also one of the better episodes in the last few seasons, because it was new and refreshing to see a new spin on the family. They should let them age now, and we can watch them grow up like we always wanted too.

That's my favorite Simpsons song. My 2nd favorite is "See My Vest" by Mr. Burns. You have to admit, it's catchy.

Even though it wasn't until season 15, I love Everybody Hates Ned Flanders. Best song, even though they spell Flanders wrong at one point in it. Also:
