This was a pleasant surprise
you couldn't fool your mother on the foolingest day of your life if you had an electrified fooling machine
I wish the Futurama crossover ran about 30 mins longer like the Family Guy one did (although i understand that crossover was more part of a Family Guy proper than it was part of a Simpson's season)
.....I mean it's not like Family Guy or The Simpsons were cancelled or anything... it's not like we don't get enough of those guys, would have been nice for just a little more time with the Futurama crew. *siiigh*
I'll take what i can get though, i did enjoy the episode.
Still one of my top favorite scenes of all time. Unfortunately the clip edits out where he tells the car valet "here you go" with the tip amongst screaming.

How in the hell that article missed this one is beyond me.
*Edit* Realized that the video i posted was posted "earlier" in the thread, so i'll just change to this one:

Sit perfectly still. Only I may dance.
Even though I've sometimes checked The Simpsons out from time to time, I actually haven't watched it regularly in quite a while, and I'm thinking about watching it more and more whenever I can. As for the DVDs, I think I'd still mostly focus on collecting any of the seasons between the 1st to the 11th one. Those seasons are where most of my memories of The Simpsons are from. That's not to say that I stopped liking the show, but for whatever reason, I just dropped off around 2006 or 2007, as I also got caught up with South Park. I still appreciate that it's still around and like it for what it is. Catching some of the older episodes on FXX quickly reminded me why I've gotten to love The Simpsons.
This thread needs more Poochie!
@henryeatscereal - Did you by any chance join The No Homers Club?
I have a hunch that it was already mentioned in this thread, but I forgot exactly which page it was it was in if it actually was mentioned. I also joined it as Kris.

And yes, The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show is definitely one of my most favorite episodes of The Simpsons. I actually hoped that slight change would've remained permanent at the time, but I'll also admit that the way they killed off Poochie was hilarious when I first watched it.
This particular scene from Monty Can't Buy Me Love also had me dying of laughter, as it's also one of those scenes that was always stuck with me.

^ I f'n love that episode!
I love that episode. Especially George Harrison and David Crosby's cameo.
Someone posted this on Reddit and it made me blow a gasket:
"Now, there's a haircut you could set your watch to..."
"Wow, David Crosby. You're my hero". "Thanks for liking my music". "You're a musician?"
"Boy, i'd like to live in one of those!"
Marge: Now, be good for Grampa while we're at the parent-teacher meeting. We'll bring back dinner.
Lisa: What are we gonna have?
Homer: Well that depends on what your teachers say. If both of you have been good, pizza. If you've been bad, um, let's see...poison.
Lisa: What if one of us has been good and one of us has been bad?
Bart: Poison pizza.
Homer: Oh no, I'm not making two stops.
