Even It Out is such a sick track! I was a bit abashed during my first listen (I guess the video was also quite distracting), but I've been listening to it non-stop since then. Just so catchy, in a dark, weird way! Enjoying the whole album as well.

They misgendered Karin in a previous article, so I'm not surprised by this.

Also, is it me, or am I hearing Trent's voice doing some "na na na" action at the end? It's either that or Karin's voice pitched down, but I'm not sure.

On first pass, I felt like Even It Out was kind of muted, and (subject matter and video aside) kind of dull. I think I first listened to it on my Macbook, and then in the car. I had a lot of work travel going on, and then had to run a few errands. When I finally got home and had a little downtime, I put on nice headphones, opened up the Bandcamp FLACs in Foobar2000, and that's where I dug into the track and it really presented itself. Honestly, I still don't think the mix is great coming out of speakers, but there's so much going on that comes through well on headphones.

On the other hand, North immediately gave me the warm fuzzies.

Agreed! When was the last time Trent sang “na na na” by the way? The mind is blanking on me.

They were selling the Even It Out movie poster at the Fever Ray show I saw earlier this month, and now those posters are available for purchase on Fever Ray's official website if that's to your liking.
