That short film/promo is fucking gold
I feel like Mike Patton is incredibly over rated. Also I kinda like him as a person.
Trevor confirmed in a new podcast interview that the next Tomahawk record is complete and will be coming out at some point
I agree, Oddfellows fell a little flat for me aswell apart from some kick-ass songs opposed to some pretty boring ones. I just love the whole style and aesthetic of Tomahawk, especially the guitar tone and the vocal effects Patton uses (similar to some with Fantomas). So I'm definitely excited!
The first record definitely is by far the best though.
I just love how the first one flows! "by far" might have been too extreme, both are extremly well done records. "Mit Gas" is a little bit more atmospheric imho, guess I need to see them live one day to fully dicern which songs I love the most. Hope that will happen in the near future!
And off I go listening to Tomahawk nonstop this weekend...
I really only got this for the shirt. I'm not a cassette collector, but it also felt a little fun to have the cassette of this release, considering the original version was only on cassette. Haven't gotten my copy on vinyl yet.
cool interview Eric Andre does w Patton
The new Bungle album is pretty fucking badass.
I'm really looking forward to the livestream tomorrow, and I'm glad I sprung for the signed poster and green vinyl.
Holy shit! Did anyone else watch the Mr. Bungle show today? So badass!
Been listening to the new bungle ALOT. So good.
Really happy with how they remade this old favorite. It packs a real punch while staying true to the "old" sound.
I'm just a little bummed out that it hasn't arrived yet. Kind of kills the vibe of having preordered the vinyl and yearbook for so long. But hey, can't wait to dig into both once they are here.
I paid for the stream and all but no clue how to fuckin rip the audio from the stream into lossless.......hopefully someone rips the video and audio of this awesome show....They already confirmed if they continue on and do another album that Danny and Bar would be back and Scott and Dave would be out so most likely this is the final performance with this particular lineup
Now having two copies of both the Yearbook as well as the ruby red vinyl I'm selling them if anyone in Europe (preferably Germany) is interested. Sealed of course and in good condition.
Bungle pro shot from 99 that sat in the vaults for 21 years until now
No confirmation, but everyone seems to think this is new Tomahawk.
That def sounds like Tomahawk.....The album has been completed over 6 months ago so it was only a matter of time until a release was announced...
New Tomahawk eh? That's a pleasant surprise from out of nowhere
I'm guessing Trevor is still on bass. I do miss Kevin's playing. There was something very immediate about his style.
New song and pre-orders for the new Tomahawk album are up on Bandcamp and the Ipecac store!

The music does a good enough job.
Remember when Patton's lyrics were sort of about stuff?
