Holy. Fuck. Incredible show last night. Band was super tight and Chino was firing on all cylinders. With regards to earlier statements about songs being a half beat slow, the only one that seemed noticebly slower was Swerve City. Otherwise, excellent show! Setlist was very similar to what Deepvoid posted above, minus Sextape, plus Minerva (!!!). Change was a bit earlier in the setlist, and no Passenger.

Anyway, super exhausted today but SUPER worth it!

Yeah I didn't think the songs were slower either, except for Swerve City like you mentioned.
Glad you had a good time! I would go see them again tomorrow if I had the opportunity.

The show last night was absolutely incredible. It was my first actual Deftones show and not where they were supporting. Chino and the guys were super energetic and were really on last night. The crowd was into it, but it just makes me laugh when fights break out over stupid shit or nothing at all; that was the most annoying aspect of this show but the security was right on it. Chinos screams were ridiculous and mean at some times lol, and he really loved smashing the mic on the stage throughout the night. The setlist was so good but what in the hell is with them not playing shit from S/T and Saturday Night Wrist?? Is there some beef they have with those albums or something? Anyway, I was even more happy in the fact that I was able to swap a pick from Stephen when he threw them in the crowd. It was my first piece of concert memorabilia so it was special.

Here is the setlist along with some merch and the pick I got:
    1. Diamond Eyes
    2. Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)
    3. My Own Summer (Shove It)
    4. Lhabia
    5. Rosemary
    6. Rocket Skates
    7. You've Seen The Butcher
    8. Sextape
    9. Feiticeira
    10. Digital Bath
    11. Tempest
    12. Swerve City
    13. Poltergeist
    14. Headup
    15. Around The Fur
    16. Riviere
    17. Change (In The House Of Flies)
    18. Bloody Cape
    19. Encore:
    20. Engine No.9
    21. 7 Words

Don't like reading Chino being drunk onstage again. I thought he was sober and shit. Well, as long as he is killing it it's not that bad I guess.

Take my statement as a mere observation. It's very possible it was just part of his schtick.

Naw he was drinking booze at the past two shows I've seen them do. But I think he's got his shit under control this time around and isn't doing it to excess. He seems quite held together in interviews and such.

Are you so sure all those rough parts are Chino? My guess is Sergio. I remember seeing a video of the band performing "Diamond Eyes" in its entirety and all of Sergio's backing vocals were terrible.

Edit: Okay, Chino's a bit rough on "Rosemary."

At the end of run of shows, with a band where the lead singer is pushing/into in his 40's, it isn't surprising that Chino's vocals are a bit off. When I saw them last week in Rochester, he sounded amazing.

Having some problems with the link. Tried a couple different things, but I just keep getting an error message. It's probably something I'm not doing, but if you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

He sounded amazing as well on Long Island. Towards the end he was starting to get tired, but that was also after he did a 10 second long scream at the end of Poltergeist... shit was epic.

I didnt think he sounded bad in those BBC sessions.

That link will be valid until tommorow afternoon Eastern time. I need to free up some space in my dropbox. So get it while you can or ask someone who got it to hook you up.

I didn't mean to say his voice is always bad, just for this session. Maybe he was sick or something. I saw them in Chicago two years ago, and he sounded awesome.
