I'm still on a strict diet of his.
I take back what I said in the last ETS JF thread...Curtains IS sublime. Really great.
And I own most of his solo work now.
Where are my fellow fans?

One of them is here anyways. JF can be...weird...to put it politely but I do enjoy his solo work. He will be missed in the Peppers.
Haven't heard any news about what he has upcoming. Have you been to http://www.invisible-movement.net? Iva usually knows what is going on but I haven't had a chance to check it out in a while.
I recently discovered IM and signed up. Haven't gone over there to see everything, mostly 'cause I'm told there isn't a lot of info about the new album at this time.
The first two albums are the only "weird" ones for me. I still haven't warmed up to them, and that's two of the three I don't own for that reason. The other is The Will To Death, although it's surprising to me I don't really like that one.
Everything else (not including "Spheres...", because that's just as much Josh) is gold in their way. Even From The Sounds Inside. That's a late super favorite, in fact. "So Would Have I," "Innerstate Sex," and "With Love." Sho good, dude.

Do you like RHCP too? I find it interesting that many JF fans don't, in fact they see the band as having held him back in some way. Some are quite rabid about it.

Finally spun Shadows Collide With People for the first time in a few years...holy shit. Still get goosebumps when Carvel breaks in at about a minute and a half in to the album...so good.
I'd love to see a super group with John, Dave Gahan, Eric Avery, Jimmy Chamberlin (or Danny Carey) and Josh Eustis. Total jizz fest!
Does he ever tour his solo stuff? Aint ever heard of it coming thru town..
I love him too. I found my misplaced "To Record Only Water For Ten Days" cd not too long ago and I was so glad. I hadn't heard it in a long time so it was great to revisit it. I think Ataxia is one of my favorite cds ever. It's the one I always try to push on people haha.
I think he did a few one-off shows in LA when he was in the middle of releasing those 6 cds in 6 months. I haven't heard of any since then. A JF solo show is now at the top of the list of shows I want to see. I really wish he'd do some.
It seems pretty damn confirmed there's a new album coming out this year.
OK, one of YOU ETS users private messaged me an audio recording last year (on the old site) of John playing How Deep Is Your Love. Which of you wonderful users might that have been?
^ I'd be really surprised if it wasn't me. I freaking love his cover of that song, and do anything but hide it from the public.
(If it was me back then...I went by a different name. )

The whole EP is now on YouTube.
Got my Letur-Lefr vinyl yesterday (a week late from TopSpin...surprise, surprise.) I like this EP, totally different realm for John. And how can you not like RZA MCing over Frusciante..??
Can't wait for the full length, which sounds like it will be a more traditional song and album structure type thing.
I don't hate this EP, but I don't love it. Definitely different realm. At this time I'm still not gonna buy it. "In Your Eyes" sure is grand though.
The man's voice never seems to waver.
Listening to this right now. This man fascinates me.
Yeah, it's so weird but at the same time so beautiful!
Also, I really like this picture of him:
This will forever be my favorite release and song by him.
He's sent from heaven.
Man, I used to really love JF. Shadows Collide With People and Inside Of Emptiness are two of my all-time favorite albums. But that was then, this is now. I really can't get behind the new stuff. Just got too weird for me. I wrote a blog about this a while back. Check it out:
