also, closure came out in '97, which no one has mentioned in this line of conversation.

I don't think the Reznor/Bowie album is coming out until 2016 tbh...

I know Reznor likes to work close to deadlines, but since Lost Highway was released in February, I sure hope so !

Ah you're right. And no one asked about 97! Some years are full of stuff, some are more sparse, but he's been involved in a musical release every year since 86 (85 if you count the innocent)

Has anyone ordered this keychain from Rockabilia? In the product pic the logo is inverted. Surely the actual thing isn't...?

Btw you gotta love how they pretty much have everything ever there. But please don't raid the place, my broke ass wants some too.

Has Trent ever employed the same live show set up for two touring cycles in a row? Or has each touring cycle been completely different and original in terms of production, etc.?

How do we define tour cycle? I assume it's the entire run of live shows from Fuji Rock 2013 until White River Amphitheater 2014, instead of the separate Festivals 2013/Tension 2013/Japan 2014/NIN+QOTSA/Latin America 2014/Europe 2014/NIN+SG 2014 legs of touring. You'd think I would know this by now, but I'm clearly out of practice.

Sorry. I guess I meant tour outings. So yeah, basically counting the whole 2013-2014 thing as an outing. The main thing I guess was the articulating screens and the visuals that went along with it. So my question is: would Trent build off that set up in the future? Or would he just ditch it completely and go with something completely new if he ever did tour again?

I've just gotten off the phone with Trent and he said he and Robin Finck came up with this awesome idea to take Cirque du Soleil dancers on tour with them. Forget the screens, it's gonna be all ropes, trampolines, clowns and shit.

The Tension tour's visuals were built off of Lights In the Sky's and the Europe visuals were very much LItS influenced. Lots of general ideas from that tour still carried into to festival/panel setup, the Closer face projection, the Only static that's motion activated.

Promoting the project is good, but it would be nice if there was something new to say. But there isn't so ... might as well do the latest project.

It could always just redirect to itunes (I'm joking)

@WorzelG wasn't there some interview with Trent with Bowie talking about a show where every member of NIN came out dressed as a different Bowie era and Trent picked the clown from Scary Monsters?

why does the discogs listing for the super deluxe Ghosts package include a "picture disc"?

is that because the person who made/edited the listing thought that would be easier than including a custom field about the art print?

You can change it, or ask the person who added it (TrollH) why they did it -- it was not the original submitter

When is Trent Reznor done with Apple Music? Saw a couple of Apple ads and he sounded as ridiculous as Neil Young (with his Pono project).

What's with Neil and Trent falling for tech companies wanting them for their "expertise" while it's only their "street cred" (ironic much?) they need for PR. These companies know how to stroke big egos. Let's hope it's worth it, aside from big checks.

Looking to get my two setlists, and guitar picks framed. Does anyone have any examples of how I can do this without it looking dumb.

Heh, nothing, I barely even tweet, just follow save a very occasional tweet to Rob, who is actually, usually, fairly good about answering.

Huh, weird. One thing I will say is with new touch devices I've found myself blocking people on Facebook accidentally, never blocked on twitter though so don't know how easy it is
