I'm guessing it's the guy who invented Coke Zero
I'm guessing it's the guy who invented Coke Zero
*facepalm*
It's not Byrne, and it's someone he doubts we'll guess... so probably not Numan.
Can't really get excited about this given Trent's track record of working with people and the music eventually not being released.
My first guess was Bowie, but with his follow up tweet I'm now guessing Lou Reed for some reason.
Edit: or John Carpenter

Would be amazing if it was Tom Waits but i don't think Reznor has ever professed any heroship from him :\
Roger Waters?
(lol)
Timbaland!
Strobe Light is finally going to be completed!
The first person I thought of was Peter Murphy... after reading TR's follow-up, though, Prince doesn't seem too far-fetched!
alien jourgensen, and they are doing new homo djs EP
Sin live, well, kinda:
A journalist friend of mine told me a couple of weeks ago that Gary Numan (who he'd just interviewed in relation to The Officers) was about to fly to LA to work with Trent on (I think he said) soundtrack work.
He could have been bullshitting me, but I thought I'd contribute.
Neil Young?
maybe he meant atticus ross
Mariqueen also posted 'So excited' while retweeting Trents message, so makes me wonder whether this might be the final 2% of HTDA...but hoping for a joint Numan/Reznor soundtrack song (just one, so as not to get in the way of new NIN...)

Numan & his family just moved to LA, not specifically to work with Reznor but I know that was something they were already trying to do. A joint Numan/HTDA tour would cause me to shit my pants.
"I doubt you'll guess this one" doesn't suggest Numan, since he's one of the first ones everybody here guessed?
Zombie Claude Debussy.
Didn't he say this same thing several months ago? This all seems like déjà vu.

David Lynch has been making music with Karen O and Moby. Trent/HTDA's not far away from that lineup...
Neil young is in town.
TR just wrote this on Facebook:
Some of you may have read that I have begun working with Beats By Dre. For the past year I have indeed been involved with Dre, Jimmy Iovine, Luke Wood, and the rest of the team on a number of very interesting projects that will start to emerge next year. I have been wanting to experiment and focus my energy and creativity in some different directions, and Beats has afforded me that very opportunity. The process has been challenging and fascinating and as much as I'd like to tell you about the things we've dreamed up... I just can't.
Not yet...
(I can tell you it's probably not what you're expecting!)
Trent has been working with Beats by Dr. Dre...
I HATE Beats by Dr. Dre
Ohhh, I get it - The Fragile deluxe, played on the most fragile headphones ever made. It's meta.
