To me, this is like saying 'that detonation sure was surprising'. You cant build a society with only bomb detonations
There is really nothing to evaluate about this man. You either endorse sexual abuse, bigotry, dictatorship, censorship, hatred of free speech, or you are opposed to it and defiant
These comments seem like something Andy Warhol would say, and, he is fucking dead. He is fine to propose a non-jugmental view of this situation, but to offer credulity to simply being destructive is probably a huge error. I dont think David Lynch is endorsing him btw hes just trying to be non jugmental, I dont agree with his opinion though. We need to speak out and step up
Things this administration has done thus far has really gotten people to pay more attention to what is going on, people that might have been more passive in other scenarios, which is what I gather he was trying to explain that is beneficial with Trump doing what he does. Trump's retweet exposes that trump likes the "short and fast" of a situation and will read the headline only, which is troubling as you would hope someone at that level would be you know, more of the critical thinking type.
I'm not surprised that Lynch has conservative views which I don't mind as I don't entirely agree with but I respect his views. I'm just surprised that he said something about our dictator and it got taken out of context even though he was just talking about how much El Pendejo has managed to make a mess of things. Lynch is right about that.
Holy shit YES

Guess I'm stuck double dipping and buying it even though I already own it on blu-ray.
I'd wait and see what kind of work was put into the restoration if any, but overall good news.
It better be a new transfer. Wild At Heart wasn't and I can't help but be disappointed by it even though it's a acceptable.
The Kino Lorber rep had this to say on another website
"We acquired the rights last year. We did reach out to the filmmaker. And that's all we can say about it.
The transfer is a very good one, we watched it and it looks great. We're trying to clear three extras and hope to list the additional details next week."
This label is not known for putting out the highest quality of transfers for their releases, as they will put out just what the studio gives them which is often not a good sign. They had to delay the release of Rian Johnson's Brick once Johnson got a hold of them because he wasn't initially informed of it's release.
No extras for the Lost Highway Blu-ray. Hopefully this means Criterion can put out their own edition sometime down the line.
A lot of people are angry at Lynch because of no extras. Commentaries, we know he hates them. But interviews and trailers? Bullshit. I don't think Kino is telling the truth.
It's either Kino or Universal people should be angry at.
Where is everyone reading that there's not going to be any extras on the new Blu-ray?
Blu-ray.com forums
just a matter of time before he remasters it his way for Criterion.
