Hopefully it's not because Lynch got himself caught up in a Larry David extortion subplot from Curb Season 11-type situation.

He'll be putting content on Nebula before you know it.
Well, i a way i'm glad, Netflix always supports great projects, just to drop them afterwards, i'm pretty sure this series will see the light of day somewhere else...
I imagine it probably has to do with creative differences/control. You know Lynch will want complete creative control, like with showtime.
Meanwhile, this is a new Donovan (yes that Donovan, of Mellow Yellow fame) song produced by David Lynch, with a Lynch directed video.
It's, ahem, vaguely horrifying.
Hey so, have any of you seen the Lynch/Frost sitcom, On the Air?
They only aired 3 episodes in the US, but 7 were produced and aired internationally. It's from 92.
It had a decent critical reception.
Great to know that it’s out there! Have you started watching it yet? Maybe we could get some folks from ETS to do a watch-along, maybe once a week. The experience of watching TPS03 on a weekly basis was enriched for me by talking about it here with my like-minded weirdos.
I know.
I've been trying for seven or eight years

So, possible false alarm regarding the On The Air series. I'm just not sure.
It LOOKS a little fishy, as it's split up into 1-3 (as one torrent with one file,) 4-6 (same,) and then 7.
Of course, it's ALSO quite possible that this could be from 3 VHS tapes or something? Idk.
I'll try downloading it (I had a lot of other stuff in the queue yesterday) but I've gotta say, that's a pretty unusual way to do something like that, even with old tv shows.

Ok so I DID get all 7 episodes, but I THINk it's from fucking VHS tapes. That's LITERALLY the only files I could find, anywhere.
It's two files with 3 episodes each, and a third with the seventh. The quality isn't great, but this is borderline lost media.
I watched about ten minutes of it, just to make sure it worked, and yeah...it's David Lynch alright. It's weird as SHIT.
Lynch is going to be in a Spielberg autobiographical movie called "The Fabelmans".

Meanwhile:
It's been SIXTEEN FUCKING YEARS since Lynch has directed a movie.
I have not, tbh it's the first time I'm hearing about it.
I may have seen it as an IMDB credit at one time or another but it never occurred to me to look into it because i hadn't really heard much conversation about it.
I'm guessing you've got it up on Plex so I'll def check it out as soon as i can.
I don't think the show got an optical media release anywhere outside of Japan. There's a Laserdisc and then this DVD (Region 0, but has hardcoded Japanese subs).
I assume these are the rips you have (at bottom):

NO, actually. I didn't see those!
The version I have is two files of 3 episodes each, and a third of the last one.
That being said, they may be from the same source, just chopped up.
I found these on this new metasearch called Solidtorrents which is pretty dope, but what I just described were the ONLY available files.
I might have to replace them with the ones you linked, as they're labeled S01E01, etc, on my plex, because that's the only way it would recognize the damn things.
It's Lost Highway's 25th anniversary today.
