Word on the street is that's gonna be a new single + music video, probably with a new album coming soon.

My mind immediately went to fantasizing about a David Lynch jazz record co-produced by TRAR.

    edit:
I just got word that it is a new Chrystabell record.

Lots of people I know didn't like Chrystabell on TP S3, but I loved her. I really like her music too, and love the new track.

The complaints about her in Twin Peaks usually didn't go further than "ugh, David found another attractive woman as his supposed muse".
She was great for the part.

I for one found her acting to be really weak and often distracting. I like her music, though!

Yeah, i just read it too, it fucking sucks; at least he's been active in his youtube channel with his "David Lynch Theater".

That's a real shame. My mother has that, and she had a tumor in her lung that had to be removed last year. Thankfully her emphysema is relatively mild and she doesn't require oxygen 24/7, but it definitely limits her stamina and what she can do. The fact that Lynch is pretty much homebound now really sucks. Still, he's left a hell of a legacy at this point, so if he never directs again, he's at least got that to be proud of.

He'll never retire, but I don't think we're going to see anything other than music or short "web video" type stuff at this point. But I didn't really expect to get more than that anyway. If Twin Peaks S3 is the last big thing he does, that's a pretty good project to cap a really great career in film. I'm sure he'll continue with music, painting, and other small projects. Sounds like things could be a lot worse.

It still is the most David Lynch thing ever for him to reveal that he has emphysema while simultaneously saying how much he loves cigarettes and the act of smoking
